Summerfield NC Landscaping and Patio Installation Project

Our latest project involved a two year old home in Summerfield that was in need of a complete exterior landscaping makeover throughout the backyard. As new construction, the homeowner was left with a clean pallet and no existing structures in place so they could create their very own custom landscape and patio design.

Cory combined the family’s needs and design preferences with materials and an overall layout that would work best given the landscape and existing characteristics of the home. Cory reviewed the plans with the family so they could envision the space before the first shovel went into the ground. This minimized design changes thereby shortening completion time and materials cost. Cory created a cohesive space that matched the clients vision for the project and will bring years of enjoyment for the homeowner.

Design Elements and Materials Used:

  • Cedar Pergola – Added architectural element with long lasting wood species
  • Stainless Steel and Outdoor Stone Kitchen – Gas lines were run to the grill for convenience
  • Retaining Wall – Utilizing segmental retaining wall blocks for added strength and look
  • Natural Stone Outdoor Fireplace – Fireplace contains an automatic fire igniter
  • Wet cast Slab Patio – Creates a finished look for the entire space
  • Outdoor Lighting – Under cap lighting surrounding the seat wall, synchronized control of all exterior lights

“Bruce and I cannot express to you how wonderful our outdoor space is! We “broke it in” just this past weekend celebrating my brother’s 43rd birthday. The fireplace was the main attraction for the kids! God has truly gifted you with the creative vision and the ability to see that vision through with tons of hard work and dedication. Thank you for taking my desire for an amazing outdoor space and making it a dream come true.”

Again Cory, many, many, many thanks,
Bruce and Tracey DeDona
